THREE MAIN FINANCIAL RECOVERY PROCEDURES
We always try to resolve cases amicably and without the involvement of third parties or legal procedures
AMICABLE NEGOTIATION

2
LEGAL COORDINATION
If an amicable solution is not reached, Fort Equity can coordinate the matter with an independent third-party licensed law firm. Any legal advice, negotiation or representation is provided by that law firm.
3
LITIGATION SUPPORT
Where litigation is considered, Fort Equity supports the creditor client by organising case information and coordinating with an independent third-party licensed law firm. Court filings, legal advice and representation are handled by that law firm.
ABOUT COLLECTION AND RECEIVABLES MANAGEMENT

Overdue accounts can restrict cash flow and consume internal resources. Fort Equity supports creditor companies with structured collection activity for documented amounts owed by individual and business customers. We work for the creditor company. We do not provide borrowers or customers with debt relief, counselling, consolidation or restructuring services.

RECOVERY SOLUTIONS
Fort Equity communicates with customers to seek payment of documented amounts owed to our corporate clients. We aim to resolve accounts professionally while protecting the client’s interests and, where possible, preserving the customer relationship. Depending on the account and the client’s instructions, collection activity may include calls, written communication, notices, documented field visits and escalation coordination.

RECEIVABLES MANAGEMENT
We support corporate finance and credit-control teams with account prioritisation, overdue-payment follow-up, communication records, customer engagement and management reporting. Our work concerns accounts placed with us by creditor companies. We do not provide financial planning or debt-management advice to the customers who owe those amounts.

NEGOTIATED PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS
Where appropriate, Fort Equity may discuss payment dates, instalments or another resolution proposal with the individual or business customer. Any arrangement or proposed settlement remains subject to the creditor client’s instructions and approval. Fort Equity does not act for the customer, promise debt reduction or independently change the amount owed.

OUTSOURCING
For many organisations, maintaining a complete in-house collection function can be costly and time-consuming. Fort Equity provides outsourced collection and receivables-management support when required. Corporate clients receive structured account handling, documented customer communication, escalation support and regular reporting without expanding their permanent internal team.

INTERACTIVE ONLINE ACCESS
Clients receive secure access to case updates, reports, summaries and receivables-management information through the Fort Equity Client Portal.
